Full Package by Lauren Blakely

Contemporary Romance

My Rating: 5 stars

Read my Review

Full Package might just be my favorite book by Lauren Blakely to date!  I loved Chase and Josie’s story.  From the hot and sexy doctor who is very good with his hands to the cute baker who is just as sweet as her treats, this friends-to-roommates-to-lovers story is fantastic!

Good Boy by Bowen and Kennedy

Good Boy by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy

Contemporary Romance

My Rating: 5 stars

This is my first book by this writing duo, but I am a huge fan of their individual books.  I knew it was going to be good and I was not wrong!  This is a spin-off of the M/M duet, Him and Us.  Jamie and Wes are featured prominently, but this is Wes’ teammate, Blake, and Jamie’s sister, Jess’, story.  Jess and Blake are total opposites who become ‘friends with benefits’.  There are several laugh-out-loud moments–primarily from Blake and his filterless thoughts.  It’s a great feel-good story and I loved it from page one!

Mists Of The Serengeti by Laylah Attar

Mists of the Serengeti by Leylah Attar

Contemporary Romance

My Rating: 5 stars

This book is so, so good!  I completely fell in love with it.  It is written in a tremendously beautifully way and the storyline is both magical and amazing.  It involves a bombing in Africa, a man who loses his daughter, and a woman who loses her sister.  I loved the entire journey and healing process the characters go on throughout the story.  Yes, it deals with some heartbreaking subject matter, but I promise it won’t break you entirely and there is an HEA at the end!

Dear Life by Meghan Quinn
Dear Life by Meghan Quinn

Contemporary Romance

My Rating: 5 stars

Read my Review

Serious Meghan Quinn is still very good Meghan Quinn.  Meaning, she is known for her silly humor, but she does an excellent job with serious storylines, too.  This book is a heartfelt and realistic look at four lives who have been changed or shaped by events beyond their control.   The program they participate in forces them to face their fears and let go of their grief.  There are enough humorous moments to keep it light, but it deals with four heartbroken people and how they heal.  It is the unique and intriguing story that stands out to me and I loved it.

Dark Contemporary Romance

My Rating: 5 stars

Read my Review

This was my first book by LJ Shen, so I wasn’t sure what I was going to get when I picked up Vicious.  Let me just tell you, I was slightly blown away by everything in this book.  It’s a fantastic enemies-to-lovers/revenge/redemption story that’s complex, yet perfectly tied together, and I could not have loved it more.
